Social media as a tool has a negative impact on people’s cognitive abilities such as critical thinking.
This research will explore whether there is a correlation between hours spent in social media resources and ability of people to think critically (doubt, ask questions, check the given information, explore different views, make decisions based on logical and reliable information).
(Here i have chosen thinking as a subject of the study, BUT if you think you have a better option of topic for grant proposal, which is exploring one of these broad topics: attentionm OR memory OR decision-making OR thinking, then you could generate any other topic that is more up to you and your competencies, just it has to be in the field of cognitive psychology).
