Instructions:This paper will consist of a review of the existing research on your chosen topic/question. It will provide a foundation for your research proposal. This is not intended to simply be a list of article summaries. Instead, the purpose of this paper is to describe previous research, as well as to identify strengths and limitations in the current body of literature (e.g., what is and is not known). You must suggest solutions to any problems identified and make recommendations for future research. A minimum of seven sources must be used. The sources should be listed in APA format on the reference page and cited within the text. Keep in mind that all sources must be from peer-reviewed academic journals or scholarly books. Use the PsycARTICLES database, google scholar, or other scholarly search tools to perform your initial search.
Do not organize the paper by describing each study. Instead, the review should be organized by topic.
The following structure is required:
· Title Page
· Abstract
· Introduction (describe topic/research question)
· Summarize general findings based on your reviewed articles.
· Describe strengths of the reviewed studies.
· Describe limitations of the reviewed studies.
· Summarize gaps in the literature (what questions remain?)
· Conclusion (summarize the main points of the paper and make suggestions for future research
