For assessment 1, students will take a self-reflective approach and demonstrate their understanding of psychological literacy and how it will be used in a service-learning activity to be undertaken.
Students are required to briefly describe a Service Learning project they would like to engage in or are planning to engage in. Next, they need to use their psychological literacy to identify the key knowledge and skill elements that are relevant to this project and why/how they are relevant. Students also need to reflect on how their learning experiences to date have helped build the knowledge and skills they require for this project. Finally, they need to identify learning goals attached to the project. As part of this, students should consider and present how the project will help them achieve ULO c or d (choose one).
