INSTRUCTIONS
As future healthcare providers, you will be faced with interacting with various patients of
different ages, cultures, and backgrounds. You will have to connect with them on their
education level, in order for your education to be effective and for them to have the best
outcomes.
For this assignment, you should create a 2-minute commercial, with video and audio, that
show cases your future career. However, you should keep it on the literacy level of a 3rd to 5th
grader. Think about explaining your future career to a child around age 8 to 10. Take into
consideration though that adults may have the health literacy level of an older child/teenager
should still be talked to as an adult.

• Include locations one may see this career (hospital, outpatient clinics, athletic fields, etc)
• How this career assists patients
• Education needed to get this career
Paper:
• One page, in APA style and format.
• Utilize 2 references that supports your video and findings
• References are current (within 5 years); can be scholarly or credible
