A. What are your attitudes about and toward mental health disorders? Describe how much and in what ways do mental health issues and problems affect our lives today/right now?
B. List 7 adjectives that you associate with people diagnosed as mentally ill/having a psychological disorder?
C. If you meet or have met someone who was once diagnosed as /having a psychological disorder/being mentally ill, sometimes even just ‘depressed’, what are/were your immediate reactions?
D. List some comments you heard as a child as well as some that you are hearing now about people who are/were diagnosed as having a psychological disorder (or depression and other symptoms)?
E. Have you ever had any actual interactions with ‘mentally ill’ people or people with a psychological disorder that have supported or contradicted your expectations? Tell us more.
F. Do you agree with the idea that psychological disorders should be viewed as an illness or disease? Defend your position(s) in a substantial reflective essay.

PART II: America clearly has social problems related to sexual behavior (Sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancies, broken relationships, pornography, prostitution, sexual abuse, contraception, sexual harassment, rape, etc.). And, it seems clear that the strategies employed so far to get people to change their behaviors and attitudes about sex so that these problems can be lessened, have not been as effective as hoped. And so, if you were appointed the ‘Sex Czar of the United States’ or ‘Secretary of Sex’, with broad powers to make policy decisions: What 1) alterations, 2) modifications, 3) adjustments and 4) policies would you recommend to bring about changes in sexual response and behavior that would reduce the severity and grimness of our problems? Tell us why and how in a well-developed answer.
