I would say I learned several things in this course. I learned more about change

I would say I learned several things in this course. I learned more about change and culture because it’s so much to take in when it comes to culture in the work place. It’s a very touchy subject and more than likely will always be because you don’t ever want to cross a line with people and then they feel like they are being discriminated against. Culture is something that will always be around in the workplace it’s just a matter of making sure you are going about things the correct way. As far as change it just further let me know that change will always be a part of the way life goes. Change is something that we will never be able to stop because change is what makes things better sometimes.
In this course it was also great learning that people think a like more than we think we do. For example I remember reading a lot of post about not just sitting around as a leader watching your team do all the work without helping. I read a lot about treating people the way you want to be treated by a leader and not degrading them as a person when they are doing their best. I read about making sure you give people the motivation they need to continue performing their job duties, even if it’s just saying “hey I saw you working extra hard to finish those task today before leaving for lunch, great job out there!”
