The PowerPoint presentation must have ten slides, not including the title and reference slides. The assignment is to
create a translational research study to help increase communication with individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The applied science often used is applied behavior analysis (ABA).
You will create a 10–15 slide presentation outlining your research proposal for this assignment. Include a slide deck with a script in the notes section as if you were reading it for a presentation. Use the Research Proposal Presentation Template [PPTX] as a basis for your assignment and add additional sections or slides if necessary. Please do not use more than 15 slides for the body of the presentation. Your presentation should include the following:
Description of the historical and current experimental and applied literature.
Your research problem and question.
Population and sampling methodology.
Methods and design.
Ethical considerations of the research.
How your research study extends the current experimental literature.
