My capstone project is Among nurses in the Medical Surgical unit, does an education intervention with a combination of compliance monitoring improve compliance with bedside reporting policy when compared to no education/no monitoring in 10 weeks? This is being done in my local hospital in a medical surgical unit. The main steakholder is the nurse manager is the unit who is also my preceptor. This unit has an AVP who also needs to approve the unit to have an assistant manager who is primarily monitoring compliance, educate staff, audit charts stuff. Right now the assistant nurse manager also has patients assigned so tey are not able to do much in improving the status of the unit. The main steak holders are pateints, but my project is a clinical problem.
