After reading chapters, describe the 2 most important topics/concepts for YOU from each chapter (i.e., you must have 6 total important concepts in order to receive full credit. Each topic/concept should be a minimum of one paragraph in length.
PART 2: APPLICATION OF KEY CONCEPTS (18 Points)
Write a separate paragraph below each concept/topic where you describe how you might apply the important topics/concepts from each chapter to your own professional activities
PART 3: DIAGNOSTIC QUESTIONS (8 Points)
Each week, students will generate 8 diagnostic questions (from the readings) that are designed to help their professional practice and understanding of psychological disorders.
Psychological Disorder Chapters
Chapters assigned in Book: Assessment and treatment of childhood problems: A clinician’s guide. (3rd ed.).
After reading each psychological disorder chapter, students will generate 4 questions related specifically to the assessment of the disorder. Ideally, the questions should assess specific symptoms without directly asking symptomatology. That is, the questions should generate a narrative from the client, rather than serve as symptom checklist
