This assignment correlates to the previous assignments you have done for me, “How does bullying in your childhood affect you as an adult?”.
Literature review should include:
1. Introduction:
* Empirical background for why this is an important topic
* The research problem in precise and clear terms
* It should answer the question of why the research needs to be done and what will be its relevance.
2. Review of the literature (3-5 paragraphs):
* Give an overview of the relevant scientific literature.
* What is known? Which questions remain open? Are there conflicts in the literature?
* Group research studies and other types of literature according to common denominators.
* Use titles to separate themes.
* You may include relevant theories that help to conceptualize the problem of interest.
3. Conclusion (2- 4 paragraphs):
* Summarize major contributions of significant studies and articles to the body of knowledge under review
* Point out major methodological flaws or gaps in research, inconsistencies in theory and findings, and areas of issues pertinent to future study.
* You will talk about variables you would like to study and why? Based on your review of the literature.
* State your hypothesis and predictions
