The response to the question reflects a student’s organization of thoughts and ideas to answer the question selected and this response reflects a presentation as an original response being shared;
The response presented organizes and utilizes research evidence or evidence-informed literature to support the discussion of ideas.
The response demonstrates depth of analysis, engagement with the course content and concepts and critical thinking as evident and discussed in the answer(s) presented. This includes the use of selected evidence to be presented in support of a thoughtful response / rationale or explanation to the question being asked;
The response may also identify – problems or issues and addresses them directly with rationales;
The response may apply the answer to a specific nursing clinical situation and describes why the content / issue is relevant to registered nurses, patients or epidemiology;
The response presented clearly supports your position, hypothesis, or conclusion with current / cited sources;
The student applies relevant course concepts / epidemiological lens to the responses presented;
The student makes connections to relevant professional, personal, or other real-world experiences, when appropriate;
The student’s response contributes new perspectives, ideas, connections, or applications of course concepts;
The student’s response considers, respects, and integrates viewpoints that are different from your own.
