Synthesis Paper (Individual)
The purpose of this assignment is for students to demonstrate an understanding of how to gather and synthesize evidence for use in making practice change. Additionally, students will demonstrate an understanding of the QSEN competencies and their integration into professional nursing practice. Using the group’s PICO(T) question as a framework, each student will write a paper relating their topic to a selected QSEN competency. Students develop a clear, crisp, concise Synthesis paper by following the writing principles as expected by the APA 7th edition, student version and by following the rubric as outlined. It is expected students understand APA formatting to include four (4) sections for this paper.
• Title page
• Text (with level 1 and 2 headings)
• References
• Tables (evidence table in landscape layout)
Each paper should be 8-12 typed double-spaced pages in 12-point Calibri or Arial font. The 8 – 12 pages does not include the cover page, reference list or evidence table. The synthesis paper accounts for 25% of the course grade.
I have attached the rubric, the 3 PDF files of the articles that need to be reviewed in the literature review section, and the evidence table I have already submitted for a grade. so those articles MUST be used in the literature review section. please use as many additional resources as possible. please provide a reference page and a cover page. please feel free to reach out with any questions!!!!
