Now that your topic has been approved, you can work on your reference page.
1. Place your approved topic on the top of your reference page. This is not APA format, but I need it for grading purposes.
This list of references can change, but you do need to have 8, peer-reviewed sources listed on a reference page (ON YOUR TOPIC and in APA FORMAT) and uploaded to this assignment by 2/4/2023 @11:59. You need to include:
the proper APA format including the correct title (this DOES NOT MEAN that you have to put a cover page, but ALL 8 sources must be in APA format).
8 sources that are all current (between the years of 2019-2023) that are ALL on your topic. Additionally:
You MUST do your research in the UHD library
Psychology is a science (i.e. your degree is a Bachelor of Science Degree). Therefore not all sources in the library will be sufficient. Your sources MUST be from peer-reviewed sources in the field of psychology. DO NOT USE open-source articles. You will risk losing many points due to the likely unscientific information that is posted. NOT ALL REVIEWERS are the same! Your reviewers must be specialists in psychology. You might be asking, “How do I do all of this?” I will tell you but pay careful attention:
Go to the UHD librarian for psychology’s web page: https://library.uhd.edu/az.php?s=71713&p=1 and use the search options in “Start Here.”
Then limit your searches by peer-reviewed sources only AND full-text only. You need good sources and the whole journal articles. You must be able to see more than the abstract. The Introduction and discussion/summary sections will be very important for your undergraduate research! The results section might be important, but not if it is too technical for you (i.e. you have not taken statistics yet).
NOTE: APA 7th is required.
No late work will be accepted for this 40pt assignment. Though this assignment is only worth a few points, it is VERY important. I will look at your research sources and give you feedback if you need to make changes before writing your paper!!!
