My current philosophy for driving change in the health care industry is one of collaboration. I believe that the best and most sustainable changes come from the collective effort of a team of diverse individuals with different perspectives, expertise, and backgrounds. As a student in the MHA program, I have been exposed to a wide range of theories and concepts related to health care management, and I recognize the importance of these theories in driving change within the industry. At the same time, I also understand that health care is a complex system, and the best solutions for driving change will come from the collective effort of a multidisciplinary team. Therefore, I strive to create an environment of collaboration and open dialogue in order to generate ideas and solutions that are tailored to the unique needs of the organization and the individuals it serves. By creating a shared vision and collective ownership of the change process, I believe that we can more effectively drive change in the health care industry (Jameton & McGuire 2002).
In order to achieve this goal, I strive to foster an environment of collaboration and inclusion. Striving to create an open and respectful dialogue between all stakeholders, including patients, providers, and administrators, to ensure that all voices are heard and that all perspectives are taken into account is also necessary in maintaining a sustainable healthcare environment (Pereno & Eriksson, 2020). I also strive to create an atmosphere of trust and respect, so that all stakeholders feel comfortable contributing their ideas and insights to the change process. In addition, it is important to understand the larger context in which the change is occurring. In order to ensure that the change is sustainable, it is important to understand the political, economic, and social forces at play in the health care industry (Albers Mohrman et al., 2012). This requires a deep understanding of the current landscape, as well as an awareness of potential future trends. By taking into account these external forces, I believe that we can better design solutions that are responsive and adaptive to the changing environment.
