Case Study 1 will be pediatric based scenarios. Students will be presented with information in each scenario which may include: a disability (language, phonological, voice, swallowing, aphasia, etc.), age, cultural and linguistic background, educational level religion, and socioeconomic level. The student will answer the questions related to each scenario using information learned in class regarding traditions/beliefs, speech-language inventories, second language acquisition, use of interpreters, assessment, and intervention practices. develop an assessment and intervention plan. The student should include specific information related to evaluation/data analysis and treatment plan of care implementing evidence-based practice. Submit the final report on the assigned day. Assignment grade will be calculated as follows: case study rubric. See Appendix A.
