In your second assessment, you will create a 3-5-page annotated bibliography (note – the content of the paper is to be 3-5 pages in length, further you will include a title page and reference page). Specifically, you are asked to select and research a current health care problem or issue faced by a health care organization. As a reminder, you will use this same topic for the third assessment.
A few important reminders:
•Include an introductory section summarizing the problem or issue. Discuss your interest in the topic and any professional experience you have with the topic.
•Clearly describe how you completed your literature search. At minimum note the search engine and the criteria/keywords you used to complete the search.
•Discuss how you ensured the content was relevant. Was it peer reviewed? Was the content current?
•Analyze at least 4-articles using the annotated bibliography format.
•Conclude the paper with a summary of your learning from this assessment.
This assessment needs to be submitted to SafeAssign as a draft to determine whether you work matches existing sources published elsewhere. You will be provided an opportunity to review these matches and correct them so to avoid plagiarism concerns. A good rule of thumb is to review the highlighted areas and ask yourself if you cited correctly. If most of your sentence is highlighted, ask yourself if you need to use direct quotes, or paraphrase it. Once you determine that you are ok, submit the draft to the final submission link. You may submit your assessment to the draft area as many times as you wish, but only once to the final link. Directions to SafeAssign are in your course.
