This assignment is a bit longer, has several parts, and is worth 10 points:
Throughout this course, we have learned about the different aspects of the U.S. Health Care System, and how they work together to promote improved health. We have also learned about disparities in health outcomes for specific populations, often considered to be vulnerable.
In this discussion forum, I would like you to write at least 350 words addressing the following topics:
1) Explain how HealthyPeople, health funding and programs work together to improve health, reduce disparities and promote national health priorities?
2) Based on the videos about health care of the future, explain the tool/technology not currently available you would like to use and explain a real/possible privacy issue with this technology noted in the O’Keef video?
3) Based on your readings about the Pre-Capstone and Capstone courses:
What type of mentor will you seek and what strategies will you use to find a mentor?
Where might your mentor/project fit within the health care system and/or health priorities?
For this discussion, you will need to post your initial thread before you will be able to see the posts of other students. I will be grading the first post submitted so review your work closely. This assignment is a bit longer, has several parts, and is worth 10 points:
