Aim of assessment
The aim of this assignment is to strengthen/develop critical thinking and evaluation of research articles in
the field of diabetes.
Additional information
You should include relevant background about the topic you have chosen, which will allow
you to present the need for your review. Your review should be highly focused, and the
research discussed should largely be from current primary sources. You must select at least
three primary original research articles (not reviews, case reports etc), critically evaluate
them and ideally compare them.
Example titles include “Treatment of type 1 diabetes with regenerative medicine”;
“Evaluation of new blood biomarkers for the early diagnosis of type 2 diabetes”; and “Genetic
profile in diabetic patients”.
Where possible you should make specific suggestions for potential areas of future research.Additional information
