You are presenting to Northstar Medical Center about a clinical trial you helped create. Create a presentation of your clinical trial.
Find a clinical trial:
Go to ClinicalTrials.gov.
Select a condition/disease of your choice (epilepsy or cancer).
Select United States for the country.
Click Search.
Review the possible clinical trials.
Select a clinical trial that has a status of “recruiting”.
Presentation Requirements:
Refer to the Presentation Template for the basic structure. Expand the slide content for your presentation.
Include the following elements from the clinical trial you have chosen:
Title of clinical trial,
Purpose,
Study type,
Study design,
Summary of clinical trial,
Primary and secondary outcome measures,
Estimated enrollment,
Anticipated study start and completion date,
Eligibility and exclusion criteria, and
Location
In your presentation, you will also need to draw reasonable conclusions based on your knowledge of your selected clinical trial and address the following points:
What internal and/or external data will be used?
What primary and secondary data sources will be used?
How will data integrity be maintained?
What type of data analytics will be used?
How will your clinical trial improve health outcomes
