Complete a capital budget for your Project Two strategic business plan. Your citations should be from your independent search for evidence of credible sources and be current within the last five years. If your strategic business plan does not require any capital expenditures over $1,000, complete a capital budget for the following three capital expenditures instead:
Three new specialty beds that cost $13,500 each
Four cardiac patient monitors that cost $5,000 each
Two bladder scans that cost $4,500 each
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria and input in the uploaded file BUDGET TEMPLATE:
1. Project Background: Briefly describe your strategic business plan, including your area of improvement and need for your plan in the Additional Notes section at the bottom of the Estimated Capital Budget sheet in the Project Two Budget Templates and Financial Data workbook (located in the What to Submit section below).
2. Categorize Need for Project: Categorize the need for your project as: new project initiative, growth, replacement, or to maintain regulatory compliance in the Additional Notes section at the bottom of the Estimated Capital Budget sheet in the Project Two Budget Templates and Financial Data workbook.
3. Capital Budget: Complete the Estimated Capital Budget sheet in the Project Two Budget Templates and Financial Data workbook. You should place the items in order of priority and month needed and include the justification for each entry.
4. Price Quotes: Cite price quotes that support your estimated costs in the Justification column of the Estimated Capital Budget sheet. While official quotes for each item are generally required to accompany capital budgets, you can use unofficial quotes from websites for this assignment and Project Two.
