Guidelines Introduction
For this assignment, you will need to begin your search (if not already done so previously) to write and submit a narrative introduction to your literature review consisting of at least two paragraphs and including the following items:
Content introduction
Introduce the topic and explain why the project is important for your selected population and area of nursing. (My topic is listed above and my area is just basic nursing / medical-surgical)
Provide background to the population selected. This should be supported by resources/evidence (i.e. APA citation should be included). (2 sources needed)
Answering the following question may help you to achieve this:
Who is affected by the problem, what is the actual problem is, when and where is the problem is occurring, why is it important to change current practice?
• Include your purpose statement with corrections according to previous instructor feedback. This is usually written at the end of your introduction.
• Include APA citations and appropriate reference page. No title page is needed for this assignment.
