Written Paper Specifications:
* Write a paper on your topic: Glaucoma
– in APA Format,
– including a summary of the learning experience,
-the most challenging parts of the assignment and what you liked most about the
assignment.
– Include how you would use the Internet when teaching family members or classmates.
* 3 pages in APA Format. Points will be reduced if more (or less) than 3 pages.
* Reference page cannot be included in the three pages of Content.
* Typed, Double-Spaced
* 12 Font letter size
* Times New Roman font
* References: at least 3 Nursing and/or Medical References. Do NOT use popular
magazines or internet sources like Newsweek, Time, Medline, WebMD, etc. You must
research 3 Internet-based professional journal reference sources.
* Headings/Sections to label and write under:
o Introduction – why you chose your particular topic. 1- 2 paragraphs.
o Body of Paper – explain the topic and your method of patient teaching.
About 2-3 pages. This is the main part of the paper. For instance: Multiple Sclerosis:
explain the disease process, what happens to patients, treatments, medications, and
Prognosis, And summarize how you taught the patient.
o Summary / Conclusion – ending of paper – explain what and why this assignment
was valuable. 1-2 paragraphs.
*Paper MUST be in APA format: At LEAST 3 Internet Journal References must be cited
within body of paper. Then list them on the References page at the end.
*Organize paper in the following order:
o Cover Page with Running Head. Center paper’s title, your name and date.
o Body of paper with above Headings (all left-justified): Introduction; Body – Topic (label
as your disease process); Summary or Conclusion.
o Reference Page – with your 3 Internet Journal References listed alphabetically AND
in APA format.
