– Identify health professions involved and delineate the role of each profession.
Settings
Identify the related settings / programs (as applicable) including and not limited to health institutions, community clinics, home settings, and any established programs, support groups, etc. explore the role of each of these settings, and the collaboration that should exist.
Highlight person/family/ community centred care in relation to the marginalized population group you selected. Address how the acute episodic illness impacts the client and their family.
Literature
Use current (within last 5 years) nursing and interprofessional literature to discuss the three levels of health promotion and illness prevention. Provide a brief, contextual definition of each level and discussion strategies related to the acute episodic health condition.
Critique
Discuss preventative and health promotion strategies in consideration of the marginalized population group you selected. In your critique, consider the structural/ social determinants of health as they apply to your specific marginalized population group and how these factors may be barriers to best practice care.
Strengths based recommendations
Consider the implications of marginalization and provide best-practice recommendations utilizing the concepts of a strengths-based approach.
