My change
My service change is to set up a wellbeing group for people who experiences anxiety in the community. This will be done through the early intervention team who offers people a first point of contact with mental health services in the community. The service will help fill the gap while waiting times for CBT therapy. The group will be for male and female patients it will help to develop coping skills for things which cannot be changed, have hope for life while waiting for therapy, The group will be to offer support, safety, and tools to help people manage symptoms.

Lewin Model – should be used for the assignment but compare it with others model such as Kotter model and NHS change model

Negative-
It doesnât refer to any psychologic emotion in his change model but he spoke about it in his books. They negative affect is that unless you read his book you wouldnât know about it.

Implementing Change and Improvement 1750 words
1)Discuss how you would implement and lead the project in

I will start by using a transformation leadership style this will enable me to sell my service change to different people in the team

Pilot group- start with a small group first .
⢠Cost- Staff, location, think about cost implication for group. Since itâs done at the hospital Springfield hospital trust is there any funding available for the trust. Talk to the manager to the cost, think about the Lewin model, what is holding me back.
