Part 2 – In this section you will discuss and describe additional functions for your chosen
chemical messenger. Due April 14, 2023 at 11:59pm within Blackboard. Both partners must
submit the same assignment by the due date
You should include:
● Examples of the multiple (often lesser known) target cells and functions of your chosen
chemical messenger.
● If applicable, also include a discussion of any agonists, and antagonists
● A description of commonly known diseases or disorders (too much or too little)
associated with this chemical messenger, and why it might occur. Describe the possible
disease or disorder in 2 ways: the first as if you were speaking to a medical colleague,
and the second as if you are describing the disease or disorder to a patient or someone
who does not have an in-depth medical background. (In other words, provide a brief
description ‘in layman’s terms’).
