Hello everyone. My name is Hannah. Come out and I am currently psych mental health nurse practitioners students are challenged in University. I’ll be presenting a PowerPoint presentation for recommendation of n evidence-based practice change. My next slide is introduction. My introduction is change in diet and exercise reduces hypertension, practice issues. Picard question, literature review and recommendation that those topics will be covered in my presentation. And those topics including that as unrelated to my peacock question. That is, how the change in diet and exercise reduces hypertension and overweight adults ages 24 to 55.3 months. I’ll be discussing practice issues. Issues regarding this problem. Literature review and recommendation. My next slide is practice issues. I have had in here, area of interests that is in that is the area of interest for me. In wait, adults, change in diet and exercise reduces hypertension and weight-loss. Practice issues. Problems related to NP practice, impact on health outcomes. As we know, the hypertension is a major worldwide public health issue because of its high prevalence of vascular disease, premature death, stroke, renal diseases, and inotropy. It has been described as a silent killer because initially the disease present no appearance symptoms. And hence an individual can have hypertension without realizing it. As of, as, of. Recent, research showed that in many countries, 50% of those in this age group have hypertension. Approximately 1 billion people have happened hypertension contributing to more than 7.1 million deaths per year. Another recent ratio, recent study showed that do to their long-term relationship with adult patient, patient care provider. Primary care provider are ideal for nutrition counseling, health promotion efforts. So nutrition counseling is a very important part of air. As a preventive care that we, as a primary care provider, we need to discuss with the patient. And this is this disease is a slide related to nutrition, this nutrition-related diseases. And this study, the recent study that is done by eating and others in 2022, Show that. Now NP practice, now shifting to the care model that needs to address the nutrition. Consult. Consult as providing patient education towards their nutrition. Salt, intake, fat and died. So they can prevent that or those metabolic diseases and hypertension. My next slide is about practice issue. No, sorry, P card question. This slide showed my P card question. That is over. Or with adults ages 24 to 55. With hypertension, does a change in diet and exercise results in weight loss and reduce blood pressure within three months. For this space, P card question P, as we know, is for our population of problem, my problem population is overweight, or those with ages 24 to 55. This is my target group. Interventions. Change is change in tight and exercise that describe the intervention in question. C for that means if P, If you don’t change in diet and exercise, does it affect or not? Doesn’t affect outcomes that result in weight loss and reduce blood pressure. Timeframe. I as I mentioned earlier, within three months period. And this is a specific time that is relevant for this course. My next slide is literature review. This slide show that hypertension and lifestyle behavior. Putin is significant health challenge for aging population. According to a research cycle, lotto and others in 2022. Other one is aerobic exercise reduces blood pressures. The study systematically identify effective hypertension prevention strategies and recommended involving journal practitioners. This literature is related to the peacock question because this is regarding hypertension and lifestyle behavior changes and made a significant change. Aging population. This is Terry relied on API epidemiology study designed to assess the foundation of involving the general practitioners, practitioners in reducing hypertension risk among patients. This studies indicated that aerobic exercise provide a practical treatment for reducing blood pressure in patients with hypertension. This is study conducted, a systematic review of randomized controlled trials of steadies since April 20 to 2020 in PubMed and Scopus database with data analysis. And the researchers identified 21 articles where the researchers conducted a point quality assessment. And this is related to my peacock question and the problem that I’m presenting. This PowerPoint presentation. Another literature review that shows at adherence to physical activity is a primary intervention in cases of hypertension. The second one is weight management problem through the physical activity, I’m sorry, weight management program through physical activity and identified adherence to physical exercise program. This study showed that adherence to physical activity is a primary intervention in cases of hypertension. The study systematically assess the results of implementing the weight management program through physical activity, and identify the determinants of cadherins to physical activity, physical exercise program among people with metabolic syndrome. Primary research studies were conducted to investigate the factor or factors that affect adherence and physical exercise using critical appraisal tools for qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The framework supports that hospitals should assess the strategies of stakeholders in practice change, intervention, strategies in promoting physical exercise programs. Next slide is for recommendation. Evidence-based recommendation for identified practice change. Cardiovascular disease, stroke, kidney disease, and other health issues are caused by uncontrolled hypertension, resulting in unnecessary human suffering, and premature death. As Hannon ETL 2022. In United States, racial, ethnic disparities in hypertension diagnosis, treatment, and control should be addressed. We know how to stop hypertension from getting worse. So we have to catch it early and control it. But as of now, we are failing to do that. Looking at, looking at those results. Advanced practice nurse practitioner who combine clinical expertise in hypertension diagnosis and treatment with a focus disease prevention and health education coaching and counseling are known as the nurse practitioners. More than 300.325 thousand nurse published over authorized to practice in the United States. As of December 2020. 2020, They handle more than 1 billion patient visits annually. So the specific actions or everyday’s recommend for the identified practice change is NP. Np should accurately measuring blood pressures on regular basis or to screen for and diagnose hypertension. Educate patients about to prevent hypertension. Use the evidence-based strategies to maintain a healthy heart, healthy lifestyle. They should follow the ACC AHA hypertension guidelines and routine screening for depression and anxiety. Also, it’s like already in interventions based on evidence that we should be, they should be screened for. So those are the recommendation and change in practice as np. Also, using motivational interviews with suspicion with a healthy lifestyle. Behavior change. My next slide for recommendation is to identify key stakeholders impacted valid recommended change. That showed that the importance of stakeholder engagement, because they capture knowledge, develop an ethical perspective, reduce conflict, can promote it. So from a management perspective, stakeholders engagement is important for caps capturing knowledge, increasing ownership, and reduce conflict. However, the process of stakeholder engagement is poorly documented in the literature. But during the process of designing, carrying out, and keeping track of the study that I showed in the writing section that it’s very hard to keep track on a steady to prevent diabetes and hypertension in workplace setting. That was done in Nico. And they recommend that the increase in stakeholder engagement and highlighted reasons or regarding stakeholder engagement. They use the seven PIE framework that was involved in clients, patients, providers, payers, policymakers, product developers, principal investigator, and consumer. They were all stakeholders. This study showed that that it improved in dimension, adherence, mutual learning, and easy implementation. When they involve stakeholders in that study. My next slide is recommendation fits visibility, appropriateness. On this slide I’ll talk about those topics. The question of whether an activity or intervention or physically, culturally or financially feasibility is given in setting, is known as clinical feasibility. The degree to which an activity or interventions appropriate for a given circumstance. The relationship between an activity or intervention and the setting in which care is provided is reward as a clinical appropriateness. According to a recent randomized controlled feasibility study, the importance of lifestyle change, changes to expect such as diet and exercise habits for patients with hypertension may be as effective as medication in controlling the blood pressure controlling medication. This research showed that a clinically significant blood pressure reduction observed was also greater than the average blood pressure reduction achieved with a single standard goals. And to happen, hypertensive drug and its associated and reduce cardiovascular molarity. And the findings of this feasibility study support the viability of both prophylactic and alternative treatment options for peasants of the patient wishing to a white anti-hypertensive drug therapy. In conclusion, changing diet and exercise your users hypertension and weight loss and overweight. Adults ages 24 to 55 in three months. You do high prevalence of vascular disease, premature death, stroke, and renal disease. I’m not going to be hypertension. Hypertension is a major global public health issue. In cases of hypertension, the primary interventions is adherence to physical activity. And patients with hypertension can affect really effectively lower their blood pressure with aerobic exercise and how they died. The lack of nutrition counseling and primary care setting is one of the current practice issues. Nurse practitioner whose primary responsibilities including providing primary and preventive here can meet the criteria critical need for nutrition. As a number of diseases related to nutrition continues to rise in United States. Also, nutrition cosmic provided by primary care nurse practitioner must play a great role in disease prevention and management. Disparities in diagnosis, in the diagnosis of hypertension, as well as patient education. Those are the conclusions. And there is another load from a management perspective, the stakeholder engagement is important for captioning knowledge, increasing ownership, and reduce conflict. So as these recommendation, recommendation for research, for this researchers, they NP should accurately measure blood pressure regularly. Active in a pigeon agitation should be active and patient education to prevent hypertension and also contribute in nutrition counseling. Because that will prevent the metabolic diseases with hypertension. Also fits and visibility and appropriateness. We have to measure that to the research. And we have to know that the research and we’re looking for the reset is visibility and appropriateness. If we follow evidence-based practice in our future practice. Thank you so much, everyone.
