QUESTION 1:
Zoraida – Stakeholders are important parties who have a vested interest in the success of an organization, whether as contributors to its success or as recipients of its activities. Stakeholders in healthcare might be patients, providers, insurance companies, or anybody else who has an emotional or financial investment in a clinical choice or the data behind it. My evidence-based project can only be put into action with the help of those who have a vested interest in its outcome (de Oliveira, 2019). Successful implementation is greatly aided by the participation of internal stakeholders, who provide their expertise and experience and provide the necessary organizational leadership to accommodate the planned change.
Internal stakeholders in the healthcare setting are primarily those working within the organization, such as clinicians, managers, and other staff members with clinical and non-clinical responsibilities (Silvius, 2019). When it comes to providing care to patients, nurses play a crucial role in putting theories and research findings into practice.
Nurses are part of interdisciplinary teams that also include doctors, pharmacists, physical therapists, and other professionals that provide direct patient care. In order to implement change, the management structure of a business must provide the appropriate leadership and framework. That’s why it’s so important for management to back an evidence-based project from the start.

QUESTION 2:
Joshua – The evidence I am presenting for my Capstone project is pretty cut and dry. It leaves no question what the path forward should be but all of the stakeholders may not agree. Despite knowing the benefits of evidence-based practice, health care organizations do not consistently make it the standard of care; thus, implementation of evidence-based practice at the system level continues to be challenging (Ost et al., 2020). An external stakeholder group that isn’t considered that often are the shareholders of a company. Most people don’t realize if a healthcare company is publicly-traded, their first responsibility is to make their shareholders happy. They actually have a fiduciary duty to only take actions that are beneficial to shareholders. My Capstone project will take an infusion of capital to implement. It is an investment over time. Therefore, I am presenting financial evidence as part of my project, that safe staffing ratios safe hospitals money over time. Cycling through 80% of your workforce every 6 months because nurses don’t feel safe is unsustainable. My Capstone change project is sustainable and is backed by EBP. Investing in nurses now is our way out of the staffing crisis. Gaining the support of all of out stakeholders is vital for my plan to be implemented.

QUESTION 3:
Corrine – Patients receive high-quality care, and the best results come from standardized nursing practice built on the principles of evidence-based practice. The implementation of evidence-based practice at the system level continues to be difficult despite the fact that health care organizations are aware of its advantages but do not consistently make it the standard of treatment (Ost et al, 2020). A stakeholder is any individual, team, system, or organization that influences or may be impacted by an organizational decision (Kaur & Victoria, 2017). Stakeholders in the healthcare system include external, internal, and interface stakeholders. Internal stakeholders are mostly found within the company and often consist of management and both professional and nonprofessional workers. Anesthesiologists, pharmacists, doctors, physiotherapists, and other health professionals who are directly involved in the delivery of healthcare services work in multidisciplinary teams with nurses. The management structure of the company is crucial in providing the necessary framework and leadership to make the adoption of the suggested change easier.
Stakeholderâs support is necessary for my change project because in order for evidence to be successfully adopted in healthcare, stakeholders are crucial. Their assistance is required since they offer the materials, expertise, and knowledge needed for the project’s execution. Also, they have an impact on how the general population feels about anticipated change. Stakeholders must be informed about the project through interactive forums if you want their support. To secure their support I would consult with nurse managers, research past consultations, provide stakeholders with the background information, understanding stakeholderâs barrier and promote the consultation procedures and timelines.
