Mr. Simon is a 72 year-old man who has a history of COPD and continues to smoke cigarettes. He was recently
diagnosed with coronary artery disease and received a cardiac stent. He has tried to quit smoking in the past but
requests not to discuss that today. He presents with a recent history of severe coughing with thick, green sputum, shortness of breath and exercise intolerance. Today he has a fever of 101.4. He uses Brio Ellipta 200/25 once a day, Flovent HFA 220 2-4 puffs BID and Xopenex 45 2 puffs 4 times a day. He often forgets his medications.
Based the case study, write a 2-page paper (APA style) answering the following criteria:
