Overview
Being able to apply concepts you learn will deepen your understanding of psychology. These application activities allow you to practice this skill to maximize your understanding of the content in the modules. They will also be helpful resources as you study for the midterm and final exams in this course.
Instructions
Create a Microsoft Word document (or 2. Structure and Function Activity.docx Download 2. Structure and Function Activity.docx) and list the following brain functions.
Brainstem
Thalamus
Reticular formation
Cerebellum
Limbic system
Amygdala
Hypothalamus
Hippocampus
Cerebral cortex
Frontal lobe
Parietal lobe
Occipital lobe
Temporal lobe
For each brain structure:
Describe the function in 2â3 sentences
Use each structure in a sentence
