Each student will write a Research Paper (6 pages minimum, not counting the title page and reference page) on one of the theories we are studying. (Object-Relations Theory)
The student must utilize at least seven peer reviewed scholarly sources. All work must be completed in APA format.
The paper should introduce the theory, the main components of the theory, the person(s) attributed with its formation/development, and its application to the counseling setting (techniques used, populations that might benefit from its use, etc). A researched based critique of the theoryâs benefits or shortcomings can also be included.
The student will be graded on: content (50%), Reference quality (25%) APA format (15%), and proper spelling/ grammar (10%).
