A 14-yearold boy goes to school as usual one Wednesday morning. But, instead of going to school, he hides in a nearby park. After school has started, he sneaks back home, and, using his father’s spare set of keys, takes the car and several six packs of beer. He drives to the beach using his parents’ credit card for gas and food. On the way home late that night, he loses control of the car and runs into a parked car. He is arrested and charged with “driving while under the influence.” His parents are called and they insist he be taken to a psychologist for evaluation.
