I have uploaded the abstract and references for the paper, please utilize those references and the same points discussed in the abstract for the paper.
The goal of this assignment is to create an integrative narrative that brings together the two topics of Cognitive and Affective Sciences. Dedicated class time will be given during the first few weeks of class to discuss the rubric and the below guidelines.
• Papers MUST show a clear organization that has three distinct sections – a cognitive AND
affective approach to a topic/behavior, then a section that clearly evaluates, describes,
and integrates both.
• Research papers should be no fewer than 10 pages in length (not including title and
reference pages), but I expect that a “great” paper may take up considerably more space.
• Papers should strictly follow APA 7 professional style (NOT student) and include a
minimum of 12 scholarly sources (journal articles, books, etc., not including websites or
other non scholarly sources).
• Deductions will be made for grammar, punctuation, typos and organizational errors.
➢ As discussed in class, the points allocated to grammar, spelling, and mechanics
can cost points in other areas of the rubric due to difficulty for the reader to find
thoser aspects.
• Prior to the final submission of the paper, all papers must be submitted electronically and will receive a Turnitin report (feedback re: the originality of your writing).
