I will provide any research needed, attached is research designed to be helpful. This is a “resistance project” aimed at exploring any resistance towards a certain population, or group of people. I was randomly given LGBTQ community. This is very difficult for me as I do not have a “resistance” to this population that I can write about in detail as requested. I do believe I am not terribly informed on the Trans process; however I still find this paper very difficult to write.

12–15-page paper
You are required to prepare a 15-page paper that documents your process with this project over the course of the quarter. The paper should specifically include the following:
• A brief review of how you initially identified your resistances. (1 page)
• An expounded description of how you understand your resistances developed and have been maintained. (1 page)
(For these first two bullets, simply expand on your previous paper. However, please do NOT regurgitate the text from any of your previous assignments. It is assumed that your experiences with the selected resources have allowed for greater reflection and insight into how your resistance(s) to this particular group developed and maintained.)
• A detailed discussion of what your expectations were before beginning the project. (1 page)
• A discussion about your exposure to the print and media sources. (1 page)
• A detailed discussion about your experience with the person/people belonging to the group you chose. Describe not only the setting but also (a) how you felt, (b) what you thought, (c) whether your expectations were met/unmet, and (d) how it impacted you, especially your beliefs about the group. (2 page)
• Identify the traumas experienced by your chosen population, be sure to include historical,
contextual, generational, and cultural factors as well as any salient intersections that may increase vulnerability. (2 pages)
• Clinical implications: What are the challenges specific to this population and the intersections clinicians should be aware of that could impact mental health. (2 pages)
• Treatment approach: What treatment options are available. Are there other culturally relevant means of healing? What are possible resiliency factors that clinicians can lean on in treatment? (2 pages)
• Integration: Talk about how your faith informs your posture toward this group of people and thus, your clients who fit into this population. Is there Biblical or Spiritual literature (or prayers) that might be offered to deepen a clinician’s understanding. (2 pages)
• A discussion of how you can apply what you have learned from this experience to your work as a marriage and family therapist. This is a key part of this assignment! (2 page)
