In this discussion we will be considering the motivation of the person for your Final Project. As you consider this assignment, please consider your choice of person and make sure it is what you want to do. You may change your mind at any time. You may also change the skill your person wants to learn at any time. The only downside to changing last minute is any direct feedback you get may (in some cases) be wasted.
The goal of the Final Project is for you to create a learning plan for your person. This is the first part of thinking about that plan and beginning to create a framework to approach how to help them learn.

Write a post for this discussion by answering each of the following. Bullet your answers with the following numbers.
Name the person for your Final Project and their relationship to you.
Select a skill your person would like to learn.
*Important: This should be a concrete skill that can be accomplished in a single year. It should also be sufficiently challenging. Meaning it shouldn’t be something intangible like “be a better person,” or something too easy like “learn to fry an egg.” (Ex. Jose wants to learn how to tie fishing lures. Brittany wants to learn how to crochet a blanket.)
Select a motivation strategy that you think will help you/your person learn the thing they want to learn using the Keifer overview I posted above. (Ex. The motivation strategy I have chosen to help Jose is …….)
Based on what you have learned, and what you know about your person, provide a summary of why you think the motivation strategy you chose will help them learn.
Provide an APA reference for your motivation theory. Remember to cite the original author of the theory, not Keifer.
**Please don’t just write this off the top of your head. Think about this first. Review our modules on motivation and your notes. Use language in your summary that indicates knowledge of the theory and how it will apply.
