Select a religious tradition/belief that is different from your own. That you have stated thus far in the class.
Examples might include Catholic, Protestant (of various denominations), Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Orthodox (Eastern, Russian) to name just a few.
Once the tradition is selected, plan a visit to that tradition’s worship service (or live stream). Write a 4 page paper on the tradition and your observations.
Please make sure you complete your research on your selected religious tradition before you attend so that you are aware of what will transpire. Also, I will be looking for personal experience and perception, not just what is online.
You are required to use peer reviewed articles and scholarly websites, the use of Wikipedia or any websites like this will not be accepted. ONLY SCHOLARLY SITES AND PEER REVIEWED ARTICLES.
The report should include but not limited to:
*religion
*date and time of service
*location of service
*Topic of message
*Who delivered the message
*history of the selected tradition
*history of your tradition
*some basic beliefs of both
*practices of the tradition of both
*psychology of religion analysis of your observations
You are required to have a minimum of 5 resources, a title page, abstract, and your paper should be submitted in APA format.
