The Final paper is worth 100 points. All papers must be typed and should be written in APA format, 12 point times new roman font, and double spaced. It must include subheadings and a cover page. Grammar and punctuation count. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in an automatic 0. The length for either paper should be about 5-7 pages (Not including cover page or reference section). Keep within these limits. Because of the length it will be best to be focused.
You will write a Case Study, analyzing a character’s personality, making use of the theories and information you have learned.
Some Details:
The case can be about any well-known figure from history, pop-culture, or fiction (such as movies, books, or TV shows). You will need to get prior approval from the instructor before finalizing your case. You cannot pick yourself, friends, or family.
Take a specific personality lens or approach (such as Erikson, Maslow, or Social Learning) to describe the case using theories and information within the field of personality psychology. Stick to ONE lens.
Develop a comprehensive description of the person’s character and their development. Basically, describe how the lens describes why the person is the way they are.
Incorporate at least one personality measure that you will fill out ‘as the person’ and score in order to incorporate them into your assessment
At least 3 references must be made to relevant research and theoretical literature (i.e., use of peer reviewed journals and relevant academic literature).
