For this paper, you are being asked to write a critique of a movie that portrays psychoactive drug use in America. The critique will be based on the guidelines and questions listed below. Please be sure to address each question. These will help you summarize and interpret the information presented in the movie, relate that information to the knowledge you gained so far in class, and draw conclusions of your own. This is an important point because the assignment asks that you observe the behavioral and physiological effects of psychoactive drugs as portrayed in the film, and films do not always portray scientifically accurate effects of psychoactive drugs.

*Did the movie suggest that certain external factors (societal, environmental, psychological, physiological, etc.) contributed to psychoactive drug use by the main character? If so, what were they and how might they have triggered psychoactive drug use by the main character? (5 pts)
