The purpose of an infographic is to bring to life key aspects of a complex idea for an identified knowledge user. For this assignment, you will create an infographic for the general public educating them about a topic of your choice from this semester. You can be as broad or specific as you want.
You will need to include facts, figures, and information gleamed from academic, peer reviewed research articles to inform your audience. You must include, at a minimum, three primary sources supporting the information you choose to present (e.g., peer reviewed psychology studies). The topic and messages of the infographic are clear and easily understood; intended to inform or convince the viewer. The information, design, and presentation of information (e.g., wording) is appropriate for the audience (the general public).
Design/layout is neat, clear (i.e., easy to read) and visually appealing. Submitted as a 1-page PDF file, ~250-500 words.
Use and arrangement of graphics contribute meaning to the overall message. Graphics are all related to topic and make it easier to understand.
No spelling errors, writing is grammatically correct; all text is carefully proofread. APA citations are provided for all images and research information (separate page)
