Using Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and his work on self-actualized people (YOU MUST READ THIS THEORY, USE TEXTBOOK AND LECTURE):
Do you agree with Maslow that it’s human nature to strive for self-actualization? Why or why not?
What prevents people from self-actualizing or living a life similar to that of what Maslow describes as a self-actualized person? {Tip: Look up how Maslow describes a self actualized person.)
NOTE: Your answer should show that you have an understanding of the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and the term self-actualization.
Self-actualization is NOT defined as being rich or famous. You can be self-actualized and poor (ex: Mother Teresa).
