doing a presentation at a professional counseling conference. Presentations are intended to expand on
your skills related to the selected topic(cultural group) along with applying the multicultural counseling
competencies to such groups and the use of technology in counseling in presenting. The presentation
should include an advocacy action plan to promote the mental health services of those from different
cultures. This assignment will be done in the last two weeks in class.
The goal is for all students to take action as part of counselors’ responsibilities for the specific
population. The presentation must be no more than 20 minutes long. Be specific and creative. See the
