Grading Rubric
This assignment will be worth 70 points. The components of your grade are:
Content: (30 points): You will receive 30 points if your essay fully addresses the question, shows that you have completed the assigned reading and have watched the documentary, and includes relevant information from your textbook and the documentary.
Comprehension and Critical Thinking: (20 points ): You will receive 20 points if your essay demonstrates thoughtful reflection and understanding of the main concepts.
Organization and grammar (10 points): You will receive 10 points if your essay is well organized and free of grammatical, punctuation, or spelling errors.
APA (10 points): You will receive 10 points if your citations and references follow APA.
Note that 10 points will be deducted from your grade if your paper does not meet the minimum required lenght (1 full page of content). Note also that you will receive a zero if your do not turn in your essay, use direct quotes, or there is evidence of plagiarism in your work.
