Your task is to design a correctional psychology research study that you would do if you had the resources and time to do so.
5 parts:
Identify 3 challenges for conducting research in correctional settings (cite where you found them)
Identify the research question you would like to answer.
Design a study to answer that research question. What is the outcome of interest? What method will you use? What variables do you need to measure to answer your research question?
Address how you would deal with the 3 challenges you identified in your study design.
Explain how this is a “correctional psychological” study – tie your explanation to the definition we covered in Module 1 (the sources attached are from Module 1, please find at least 1 other source other than the two given).
Your assignment should be 2-3 pages double spaced, size 12 Times New Roman font (excluding references). Please do not exceed this page limit. Read the rubric below carefully before submitting your assignmment.
There is also no particular format required, with one exception. You should use APA citations, both in-text AND a reference list at the end. If you have never used APA citations before, please go through this tutorial. You can also email me if you don’t understand how APA references are used. Any other formatting decisions are up to you – an APA cover page is not required.
